Welcome to 9th Grade/9th Grade Pre-AP World History!!! Students: You have made the decision to pursue a rich and rigorous academic track. You will need to work hard this semester, but you will learn a lot, prepare to take the 10th grade Honor's European History course, and have some fun along the way. Why do you care about taking Honor's Euro as a sophomore? In the spring, you will be eligible to take the AP Euro exam. If you score well on this exam, you can actually waive the course in college. This will save you time and money!

Throughout this semester, we will be studying everything from Early Civilizations to the Renaissance and Reformation. 9th Grade World History Students: We will have a lot of fun this semester exploring early civilizations, learning about the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, and discussing the implications today of the Scientific Revolution. We will finish the semester with your mandatory Washington state Classroom Based Assessment.
