Hey Guys, I just got myself a 1998 Tahoe with the 5.7 Vortec. I'm looking for a factory service manual, so if anyone knows a good place to get one I'd appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. There is this ticking noise (sounds like valves to me) and I'm trying to isolate the source. It's there all the time but does get better as the engine warms up.
I'm looking to adjust the valves but haven't found anyone whom has done it before. I've done loads of engine work before and if you guys have any suggestions for me I would also appreciate them. I appears that the link leads to some type of software. Maybe the owner of the website receives revenue when the software is downloaded and this is how the service is funded? Just a guess. If software must be downloaded to my computer, then I won't be able to access that pdf. Actually what I need is the lighting system wiring diagram/schematic for a 2000 Suburban 1500.
